The UCS Sandcrawler is the latest CUUSOO project to hit 10,000 votes which will delight LEGO Star Wars fans, however will if get past the Review stage?

The Sandcrawler was originally used in his earlier days for mining purpose and was long time abandoned before the Jawas rediscovered it as their new mobile headquarters, and this fantastic model is in excess of 10,000 LEGO pieces.

There is no licensing issue with this project, however the main potential problem is the size and cost of it. Rather than this project being rejected we are sure many fans would be quite happy with a much smaller part count 2000 to 4000.

We will have to wait now until the beginning of September for the Review process to begin which will also include all the other projects that reach 10,000 between now and September 2012.
