The Azog The Defiler is the third is the series of The Lord of the Rings and Hobbit custom minifigures, following on from Witch King of Angmar Custom Minifigure and Lurtz Custom Minifigure.

The head is made by air drying clay to get the nice dome shape, the spikes on the arms are made from poly clay rods., and he used two pairs of legs spliced together to give Azog a little more height.

All the body strapping is made from leather with rings pulled from old bits of jewellery, and the mace is made from credit card plastic, Q-tip tube and cotton.

A lot of time and effort has been put into this minifigure and the results speak for themselves. I think it’s about time I started cutting up my credit cards!!
