Victor from eclipseGrafx has hand painted this Black Suit Iron Man Custom Minifigure. The gold on the helmet, torso, arms and legs is Citadel gold paint, however a general complaint of the paint is it seems very runny and hard to manage, and takes several coats to cover. The knee guards and arm guards are glued into place, as Victor didn’t want them moving around and scratching the paint work. The painted armour looks very nice!

Geoshift recommends when painting gold to undercoat the area in black first (primer or paint), however you still may need multiple coats.
