G-Bricks have painted one of their excellent sculpted Alien Warriors which have now been cast for mass production.
It took 4-5 sitting to finish this and he started with some spray on grey primer, then went with a very, very dark grey base coat (intentionally not black) and then dry brushed with some good old Leadbelcher. After that, he used about 4 gallons of Nuln Oil, then went over with a little more dry brushing with some Ironbreaker and finally sealed with a heavy coat of gloss varnish.
The result is incredible and I really like the metallic reflection on the frontal lobe of the skull.
This is what the Alien Warrior looks like unpainted.
